JOURNEY TO A FARM

On this journey, children take an airplane ride and parachute down to a farm. Here they meet, talk with and play with different farm animals. Each one imparts a particular quality children can incorporate into their lives. For example, children imagine being as enthusiastic as a horse, as confident as a pig, as assertive as a cow and as accepting as a lamb. Great for animal lovers.   

JOURNEY TO SPACE
On this journey, children put on a cushy space suit, tense their muscles and take off in a spaceship to an imaginary planet. There, they find a pile of huge, squishy talking pillows to roll around and jump on. As they bounce around, the pillows say things like: "You're smart!" "You can handle anything!" "You can trust yourself to make the right decision!" A really fun way to build self-esteem and self-confidence.

JOURNEY TO THE WOODS

On this journey, children descend down an escalator to a flower garden, to a meadow and through the woods. They find a comfortable spot near a stream where they meet a special buddy (pet, doll, friend, grandparent, or spiritual guide) and revel in the love, understanding and acceptance which is showered upon them. Children are encouraged to talk to this special buddy about any problem or dilemma they are experiencing. Great for when one is feeling sad, lonely, confused, afraid or worried.

JOURNEY TO THE SEA
On this journey, children relax their bodies by being rag dolls and then take a journey over the mountains to the ocean via a bouquet of helium balloons. Once at the sea shore, they take in the sights, sounds and smells of the sea and are lulled into relaxation. They are once again joined by their special buddy (see Journey to Woods) who offers them unconditional love, acceptance, friendship, and understanding.
                    #3 RELAXATION AND SELF-AWARENESS(AGES 3-10)

JOURNEY TO A CASTLE
On this journey, children take a magic carpet ride to a castle where they are greeted by a friendly bear. Here they enter different colored rooms where they see, hear, feel, smell, and taste things of different colors. Children discover the effect of color on their mood. They are guided to put their negative feelings in their least favorite colored balloon and release it. Positive feelings are put in their favorite colored balloon and kept. The use of color is a simple and easy way to de-stress.

JOURNEY TO STORYLAND
On this journey, children fly to an imaginary land where they see scenes and characters from popular movies, cartoons, books, TV shows, etc. They meet characters such as Charlie Brown and Eeyore who have a grumpy, negative outlook on life as well as others who have a more optimistic, friendly outlook (Winnie the Pooh, Linus). A magic spell is put on them so they can experience these attitudes and also observe the reactions of others. To experience this contrast is truly enlightening!

JOURNEY TO PUPPET SHOW
On this journey, children descend down a spiral staircase that leads them to their inner selves.  They enter a cave where they meet their inner guide and proceed to a room where they watch a puppet show which illustrates different aspects of themselves. Their inner guide gently helps them take those first steps toward behavior change. 

JOURNEY TO A MOVIE THEATER
On this journey, children imagine being a movie director. They ride in a limousine to the movie theater where they are going to edit a movie in which they are the star.  As they view a variety  of responses to situations in the movie, they get to choose which ones will portray them as a positive role model for their audience. Children will feel important, special and in charge of their lives!

                     #5 RELAXATION,SELF-CONTROL AND SELF-CONFIDENCE(Ages 6 AND UP)

JOURNEY TO THE GYM
On this journey, children try out different ways of getting rid of their anger. They imagine being inside a gym running, kicking a ball, doing karate moves, or dancing. They then play different musical instruments and experiment with different art mediums. By the end of the journey, children have identified some practical, positive ways that work for them to reduce anger. Great for anyone to learn acceptable ways to channel negative feelings.

JOURNEY TO A WATERFALL
On this journey, children float down a river to a waterfall. This waterfall changes color as they stand under it. Each color fills them with different positive qualities; for example, yellow indicates confidence and red conveys enthusiasm. Feel like a new person after taking this rainbow shower!  Nice for adults, too.

                     #6 RELAXATION AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION (Ages 8 AND UP)



JOURNEY TO THE PLAYGROUND
On this journey, children imagine being on a playground where they encounter a conflict. They try out different approaches to resolve the conflict such as being assertive, ignoring, walking away, making a deal and defending themselves. Great for learning how to deal with bullies, teasing and sibling rivalry.

JOURNEY TO THE HEART
On this journey, children confront a person with whom they are angry. They voice how they feel and suggest how things could have been done differently. They imagine going inside the other person's body and experience the situation from their perspective. This journey demonstrates how empathy is a powerful tool to diffuse anger! Parents, this is great for understanding spouses and children, too.
