MindJourneys are guided meditations that reduce stress, enhance self awareness, build self esteem and increase coping skills. These narrations invite children to journey to a relaxing yet intriguing place in their imagination. Once in this safe place, children meet characters that guide and inspire them. Opportunities are provided to visualize and experience desired behaviors.  Each adventure leaves the individual feeling confident and empowered.

kidscircleIn this fast paced society that we live in, kids are stressed! A lot of pressures are put on children to succeed in school, to perform, to manage their feelings and behaviors, to get along with others and to process information quickly. They are rushed from here to there going from one activity to another. Visual and auditory media is bombarding them and competing for their attention.

Providing opportunities to get still, to be calm, and to experience the relaxation response is so critical for children’s physical and mental well-being. Providing some down time from these over stimulating environments can bring balance and harmony to children’s lives.

Meditating through guided imagery is an easy and fun way for kids to relax and let go of stress, anxiety, frustration, fear, anger, or restlessness that is part of everyday life in today’s world.
